WOMAN FROM NOWHERE 20/21
Reflecting a kindred feeling for the works of Mark Rothko, the Woman From Nowhere Collection for Autumn/Winter 2020-21 is a vision of red calling upon blue cutting off the denim canvas. This season creative director Alexandra Jacmin presents marked out silhouettes on a denim canvas that is infused with tartan, scarlet red velvet and poplin.
Amongst the key pieces, we find a spencer jacket finished with a rib edge, denim culottes with rib stitching details, as well as a vareuse that comes to be grafted to a bodysuit. The pervasive use of rib stitching gives direction to the fabrics while simultaneously creating a marked out silhouette. Large collars gain a foothold and are deployed on the garment giving it soundness, at the same time shoulders are elevated and the waist is marked. Some iconic pieces are also revisited, such as our Gloria shirtdress created in a blend of denim and scarlet red velvet.
Ultimately, the Woman From Nowhere Collection for Autumn/Winter 2020-21 reveals an energising modern silhouette, altogether feminine and elegant. Discover the collection here.
